Yes, the vacuum cup wall keeps my coffee hot from the air.I also like the material of the press. It looks stylish and it is
made of stainless steel. Very impressed.
● How many seconds/minutes after water boils do you wait to pour onto coffee grounds?
I pour the water immediately, stir it a few times and then wait 4 minutes before pushing the press down and serving.
● Is this product BPA free?
Sure it is. I asked the seller and they confirm that both the french press and the accessories are both 100% BPA free.
● How often do I need to replace filters?
It depends on how often you use the filter. Anyway, there are 3 filters came with the press, so you can use it for a long time if you want.
● Does this have measurement lines inside so you know how much water to add if you want less than full?
Yes, there are the internal lines on the French Press.0.5L/0.75L and 1L. So I can know how much water I should add to mix thecoffee.
● I saw that there are 2 filters on the picture. So I wonder did it come with the extra filter?
There will be 3 filters came with the product, with 2 backup ones.What surprises me is that the filters are 2-layer filters. I think it might last very long.
● Does the press operate smoothly or is it difficult to press down?
It operates smoothly. You can press it down easily.
